Who can come to The Refuge?
     Anybody residing in Johnson County and surrounding zip codes. Click here to see if your zip code is within our territory. Our resources are limited and we are only able to serve families within this area. If you reside outside this area, feel free to call our office if you need to know of other food banks in your zip code.

Do I need to be pre-qualified?
      If you are in a position to need help and come to The Refuge, we feel it is hard enough to ask for help. We do not ask for any income or financial status information.

What do I need to bring with me?
     The only item you need to bring is a current photo photo identification to verify your zip code. If you have recently moved you will need to bring 2 pieces of mail that proves your address change.

How often can I come if I need food or clothing?
     You are able to come one time a calendar month. It does not have to be every 30 days, just only one time per month. For example, you can come anytime in October (even 31st) and then again anytime in November (even the 1st), but then you would have to wait until at least December 1st.
